Sometimes, I can be really, really stubborn.  Usually it's a good thing, like when I insisted shortly after my daughter was born that we call the bottle companies to ask if there was BPA in the plastic.  This was really before many people were buzzing about BPA - but now you hear about it everywhere.  My pigheaded stubbornness paid off there, even when my daughter's pediatrician told me that I was crazy.  Other times, it's not so helpful to be stubborn, like the time I brought 33 of my high school students to France and insisted that the bus was going to pick us up at a
