Just to stereotype- when my hubs leaves for a trip, he leaves with a cheery wave and a promise of an arrival phone call.

When I leave, it’s after two days of angst, planning, laundry, checklists, schedules, and notarized documents.

What’s up with THAT?

Actually, I know. Mom’s the institutional memory of a household, and when we’re heading out, a data dump is necessary first. Then, and only then, do things have ANY chance of running smoothly.

When I was growing up, my mother always said, “You can fall in love with a rich man just as easy as anyone else!” But for those of us who didn’t get that memo, or haven’t yet won the lottery, filthy lucre is a pervasive theme in everyday life.

How to get it, how to have enough, how we shouldn’t be spending it, or how we want more. But when your money has systems in place to free up that brain power, you’ll have more time (and more cash!) for fun.
