Raising children who have a passion for seeking out new things and always following their dreams — that is what my husband and I hope to do! I'm the mom two fantastic and always amusing kids; Cameron who is 4.5 years old and Leah who is almost 2. When my husband and I were bitten by the bug to move to Hawaii over four years ago, we never let that dream go. Instead we waited, planned and then struck when the time was right. We wanted to show our children a change of scenery and teach them about new cultures. We thought of heading to the South of France where my husband's family lives, but while he spoke French, I did not. So after traveling to Hawaii four times within a year and a half, we realized that we could stay in the U.S. AND get a whole new culture by moving to Hawaii. At four months pregnant with my second child and a 2 year old in tow, my husband and I sold almost everything we owned and made the move across the vast Pacific ocean. We now spend time exploring this amazing land and enjoying the always beautiful weather Maui has to offer. I am also a work at home mom and writer—my site is TheOhanaMama.com.
