I have three sons, 10, 6 and 3. I’m always looking for practical ways to help them learn. My husband created a football card game to help them with math skills while spending quality time together. They loved it! We decided to “go for it” as a family and brought our game to market. My kids are learning hands-on about what it means to be an entrepreneur. Now, dozens of toy stores, bookstores and teacher supply stores sell our game. The boys are involved with all aspects of our startup business. They help with game testing, shipping orders, visiting stores with me where they help demonstrate and pitch the game to buyers. They helped design our website www.JukemFootball.com and we're learning together about packaging, pricing, word-of-mouth marketing, and "cash flow!" Last month, my oldest son and I took a 10 day sales trip through New England. He took it so seriously! He looked the store owners right in the eye, speaking clearly and confidently about our game! I felt so proud of him. I’m constantly amazed at what children are capable of understanding and the creative ideas they contribute. If mine choose an entrepreneurial path in life, they'll be ready!
