I know, it's been a few days since the Primetime Emmys were telecast on CBS, and, while most entertainment outlets reported the winners (some of our picks did come up triumphant - including "Grey Gardens" and "The Amazing Race"), our focus of the evening was all about one thing...hair! You see, what I've been noticing from today's major TV and film stars is that three types of styles are back in fashion...classic bobs, curly locks and bring on the bangs baby! And thanks to Suave, who happened to have styled gorgeous Kate Walsh's hair for the Awards show, I was given the opportunity to host an Emmy party at my house this weekend, complete with my gal pals, appetizers, drinks and my favorite hair stylist, Danielle, who transformed all of us from drab to fab. And I have to say, some of us (not me) looked like they could step out on the red carpet and blow everyone away!
We had so much fun at our at-home, red-carpet party that we actually missed most of the Emmys since we were too busy laughing! But, we were there to catch the winners of the important categories like Best Actress in a Comedy (love you Tina Fey) and Best Supporting actor in a Comedy (go Duckie - aka Jon Cryer)! Check out this video I made from the night...and you'll see that all we had time for was hair, food, wine and lots of conversation!

If you're looking to have some fun with your girlfriends, then you've got to try out a Moms Night In party. Invite your favorite friends, ask each of them to bring food, wine or a beverage, time it around the release of an awards show or perhaps a fabulous reality show like "Project Runway" and voila, you have the makings of fabulous evening!
