Throw a Heart Healthy Halloween Party
Halloween is nearly here. In fact, we're getting ready for costume parties, shopping for decorations and planning party menus.
I love Halloween. Adore it, really. What other time of year can you dress up so ridiculously that no one can recognize you and get away with it? What other time can you stuff yourself silly on candy until you simply can't stand it?
However, I'm looking to shake it up this year, bring a bit of real food into the Halloween sugar rush.
Spooky Snake Bites
1 package Flatout Flatbread
6 tablespoons ranch dressing
1 pound turkey, sliced thin
1 package sliced cheese
1 large tomato, sliced
Romaine lettuce
2 strips red bell pepper
Assemble wraps by spreading dressing evenly across each piece of Flatout Flatbread. On one
rounded end, layer remaining ingredients except for bell pepper.
Roll tightly and cut into 6 pinwheel pieces. Form into curvy line on a platter to form snake. Insert bell pepper into first pinwheel to create tongue for the head of the snake, if desired.
