I'm sure you noticed that the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards were last night, and I was glued to my television for the red carpet portion of the show. I'm not a negative person by nature, and I think style is really a subjective thing, so instead, I wanted to point out a few of what I considered the night's "home runs" in the style department.
Chloe Sevigny looked incredible swathed in delicate ruffles in a dress that looked like it was almost suspended in mid-air.

I thought that Amy Poehler looked simply stunning in this red-hot one-shoulder gown with a black satin belt.

Penelope Cruz looked incredibly sexy and feminine in this black mermaid gown. I am especially in love with the scalloped lace edges on the off-the-shoulder top.

Marion Cotillard wore what may have been my favorite red carpet look of the night in this gorgeous Dior satin gown. I love the bit of lace that tempts us from right above her knee. Again we are seeing the one-shoulder look - I'm not sure this trend is going anywhere for a while.

My favorite part of January Jones' overall look was her bright red lips and black satin headband. Her dress was fantastic, but her hair and makeup really set off the entire look.

Finally, I loved Heidi Klum's soft, romantic look in this Roberto Cavalli gown. The soft waves in her hair really went well with the delicate cap sleeves of the dress and nicely showed off her bare shoulders. I'm not bitter at all that she looks like this after having just had yet ANOTHER child.

Did you watch the Golden Globes? Did you have a favorite dress or look? Did I leave out any of your favorites? Let me know in the comments!
