Hot Mamas At The Oscars

Moms ruled the Oscars this year, with some of the best-dressed looks going, hands-down, to the actresses who have given birth to more than just the occasional film.  The only mom who usually makes my best dressed list that doesn't grace my list this year is Jennifer Lopez - I don't even know what kind of hairstyle she was wearing because I was too busy staring at her chest, wondering if I was seeing a shadow or if that was actually a bit of nipple that was on display.  I just couldn't look away.

Without futher ado, here are the moms who are at the very top of my personal "best dressed" list for the Oscars 2012.

Leslie Mann  - this mom of 2 with director/producer hubby Jude Apatow watched cartoons with her daughters before hitting the red carpet yesterday afternoon.  Mann was stunning in a Roberto Cavalli sequin navy blue dress with a train.

Milla Jovovich looked breathtaking in this white-hot Elie Saab gown (this is the second year in a row that she has chosen this designer).  Jovovich is mom to daughter Ever, who is 4.

Mother of 2, Tina Fey, showed off more than her knack for comedy in this navy blue Carolina Herrera gown with of-the-moment peplum detailing around the waist.

I loved Gwyneth Paltrow's white Tom Ford dress, though I wasn't crazy about the cape. It made her look, well, crazy.  Either way, it was probably a smart move because it was freezing in Hollywood on Oscar night (at least by California standards!) so really, she at least wins the award for most smartly dressed!

Good Lord Angelina Jolie needs to eat a cheeseburger (or ten!) but no one can deny that this mom of six (at least I think it's 6 - I've stopped counting) looked smokin' hot in her black velvet Versace Atelier gown.  Angie knows how to work this dress too - she flashed her leg in that thigh-high slit every time she had the chance.

I loved Penelope Cruz's delicate lavender gown from Armani Privé because she stood out in a sea of navy, white, and red.  Most styles were form fitting and this dress was just a little bigger and a bit more airy, but I thought it was lovely.  The only thing I wasn't wild about was her hair - I think it aged her a bit too much.

Lastly, one of my favorite looks of the night goes to Michelle Williams.  Like Tina Fey, Michelle's red Louis Vuitton dress had peplum detailing around the waist and lots of gorgeous layers.  The color was great with her skin tone, and I especially love the broach at the waist.  Michelle got ready for Oscar night alongside of her best friend Busy Phillips, and their two daughters.

So tell us - what were your favorite (and least favorite) looks from the night?
