Get freaky! It's almost Halloween and the perfect time to spook friends with Freaky Pets. These little stuffed creatures sold exclusively at Hallmark stores go from cute to cranky in just seconds. You can check out Kyle's and my Freaky Pets demo in this video. These stuffed critters are unusual but intriguing. You could see them catching on just like Silly Bandz or the WebKinz craze.
The suggested retail price is $14.95 but on select Fridays (through December) participating Hallmark Gold Crown Stores across the country will give a free Freaky Pet stuffed toy to the first five kids who come into the store and say the magic phrase found on the Freaky Pets website. It's a very cool promo that is sure to make these Freaky Pets a hot commodity.
There is also a large online world connected to these critters. Kyle is too young to explore this attribute but given the popularity of WebKinz, it makes sense to suggest kids will be all over this feature!
